  1. That’s an excellent perspective and a great photo! I was just reading that if you see a crow with what looks like a moustache fly by it actually has a piece of shed grapevine bark in its beak. Apparently it’s one of their favorite materials to line their nests with.

    • I love that! A crow with a moustache… dapper as well as intelligent. Grapevine would certainly make a wonderful addition to a nest. This particular specimen was especially gnarly and full of character.
