  1. Imagine there would be a lot more snow there this morning. At least there is in our corner of New Hampshire. Come to think of it, I haven’t heard the trains yet today. Could they be weather delayed?


    • We had about 8 inches last night, starting shortly before this shot was taken, topping the couple inches of accumulation from earlier in the week. We live a half-mile away from these tracks and usually I can hear the trains traverse the valley from our yard. Today I was indoors most of the time so I can’t say if they were moving, but I can’t imagine that little bit would have been an impedance: they have plowing equipment which they use quite handily (and fun to watch as well). Thanks for weighing in on the situation, though, Jnana!
